Tube Sonicator TS5 – Disrupting cells with ultrasound
Secure and reliable
The TS5 is a pre-diagnostic device and offers high-intense sonication of samples to disrupt cells. Closed tubes eliminate aerosols and cross contamination.
The sample tubes are sonicated directly, which makes the process efficient and keeps the cycles short. Each of the five tubes is treated with ultrasound separately but simultaneously. Racks with five tubes can easily be loaded and unloaded.
Unlike with ultrasound baths and cup horns, there is no risk of contamination of the water in the sonication rooms and related aerosols which could be inhaled by the operator.

Features
EASY AND SAFE LOADING
The rack can easily be loaded into and unloaded from the rack holder. The indicators prevent incorrect loading. The risk of cross contamination and aerosols is very low as there is no need for the tubes to be immersed into water for the sonication process
HOMOGENIC SONICATION
Each of the five tubes is treated with ultrasound separately but simultaneously, which makes the results reliable and means it is possible to compare them across the samples
FORCE AND AMPLITUDE REGULATION
Thanks to the regulation of force and amplitude, cell membranes can be disrupted very gently or very abruptly
SHORT CYCLES, LESS HEAT
The direct sonication leads to short cycles and therefore less heat
FULL CONTROL AND HIGH REPRODUCIBILITY
8 freely programmable and 1 preset programmes can be stored on the TS5.
Parameters to set:
Ultrasound on
Ultrasound off
Number of cycles
Force
Amplitude
MINIMUM WEAR
The horn has a long life time as there is no corosion like in a water bath
SECURITY Emergency stop button
ERGONOMIC WORKSPACE
The display can be turned through 45° and 90°, which means the TS5 can be placed and operated in two working positions. Inside, the TS5 provides space for convenient working
VIEWING WINDOW
to controll the process
COVER TO REDUCE
– noise
– risk of injury
3.5″ COLOUR TOUCH DISPLAY
– can be turned through by 45° and 90°
– intuitive graphical user interface
